Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website, applications and related services (together, the "Services") provided by BOLTWARD TECHNOLOGY PTE. LTD. ("Boltward", "we", "our" or "us"). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. The Services
Boltward provides privacy and security software. Some features are offered free of charge (and may be supported by advertising), and some are offered as paid subscriptions. We may add, change or discontinue features from time to time.
2. Accounts
You may need an account to use certain features. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information and be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction.
3. Subscriptions, billing and renewal
Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (for example, monthly or yearly) at the price shown at the time of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date. Payments made directly to us are processed by our payment provider, Stripe. Purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play are billed by, and managed through, those stores and are also subject to their terms.
4. Free trials and free tier
We may offer free trials or a free, ad-supported tier. Unless stated otherwise, if a free trial converts to a paid subscription you will be charged when the trial ends unless you cancel beforehand.
5. Cancellation and refunds
You may cancel a subscription at any time. Cancellation stops future renewals; your access continues until the end of the current paid period, after which it will not renew.
If you purchased directly from us, you may request a refund within 14 days of a charge by contacting support@boltward.com; we will handle refund requests in good faith and in accordance with applicable consumer-protection law. Purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play are subject to those stores' refund policies and must be requested through the relevant store.
6. Acceptable use
You agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes and not to misuse them, including by attempting to disrupt the Services, circumvent security, infringe others' rights, or use the Services to carry out illegal activity.
7. Intellectual property
The Services, including all software, text, graphics and logos, are the property of Boltward or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Services in accordance with these Terms.
8. Disclaimer
The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Boltward disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Boltward shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Services.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
